Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 October 2026
Ninth Forge collects very little about you, and nothing at all from the apps where you use our components. This page explains what we do collect, why, who helps us process it, and how to have it changed or deleted.
Who we are
Ninth Forge is a business of Inspire Labs Pty Ltd (ABN 93 696 524 071, ACN 696 524 071), based in Perth, Western Australia. In this policy “we” and “us” means Inspire Labs Pty Ltd trading as Ninth Forge.
Contact us about privacy at hello@ninthforge.com.
Our components don’t collect data
Ninth Forge components run inside your Power Platform environment, in your users’ browsers. They make no network requests: no telemetry, no analytics, no “phone home”. Licence keys are checked offline. We never see your apps, your Dataverse data or your users.
What we collect on this website
| What | When | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Your email address and the products you tick | You join a waitlist | To email you when those products launch, plus occasional build notes | Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it |
| Date, time and the page you signed up on | You join a waitlist | To show when and how you consented | Same as your email address |
| Whether you open our emails and click links | You receive our emails | To see, in aggregate, whether our emails are useful | Same as your email address |
| IP address, browser and device signals | You submit a form | Spam and bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) | Not stored by us |
| Pages viewed, referrer, country, browser type | You visit the site | Aggregate visitor statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) | Aggregate only; no individual profiles |
| Anything you write to us | You email us | To reply | As long as needed to deal with your message |
We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We don’t build profiles of visitors, and we never sell or rent personal information.
Cookies. This website doesn’t set its own cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics works without cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary technical signals to protect forms and the site from abuse.
How we use it, and our legal basis
We use your email address only to send what you signed up for. We also keep a record of your consent, and we may reply if you write to us.
Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, our legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. For spam and bot protection and basic site security, it is our legitimate interest in keeping the site safe and working.
Every email we send identifies us and includes a one-click unsubscribe link, as Australia’s Spam Act 2003 requires.
Who processes it for us
| Provider | What they do | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts the website, stores waitlist sign-ups, protects forms (Turnstile), aggregate analytics, forwards our email | Global network, including the United States |
| Kit | Sends our emails and manages subscriptions | United States |
| Resend | Sends transactional emails: licence keys, trial keys, renewal notices | United States |
These providers process data on our behalf under their data-processing terms. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside Australia, mainly in the United States. We choose providers that protect personal information to a standard comparable to the Australian Privacy Principles and the GDPR.
When you buy or start a trial
Paddle is our Merchant of Record. When you buy, Paddle.com runs the checkout, takes payment, charges tax and issues invoices. Paddle collects your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy, as an independent controller. We never see your full card details.
To issue and manage your licence, we keep:
| What | Why | Kept for |
|---|---|---|
| Your name, email, organisation and billing country (from you or Paddle) | To send your keys and renewal notices, and answer support questions | While your licence is active, then 7 years for tax and accounting records |
| Your Microsoft tenant ID | Licence keys are tied to it | Same as above |
| Product, tier, licence dates and Paddle order IDs | To issue renewal keys, handle refunds and help you find lost keys | Same as above |
| Trial requests (email, organisation, tenant ID, product) | To issue one trial per product per tenant | 2 years |
These records are stored in Cloudflare’s infrastructure. Your tenant ID identifies your organisation’s Microsoft tenant, not you personally. Trial and purchase emails are transactional; we only add you to marketing emails if you tick the box.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email. We remove unsubscribed addresses from our own copy within 30 days.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@ninthforge.com. We’ll respond within 30 days, and we won’t charge you.
- If you’re in the EU or UK, you also have rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
- If you’re in Australia and unhappy with how we’ve handled a privacy request, contact us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Security
Access to our systems is limited to us and protected with two-factor authentication. Sign-ups are stored in Cloudflare’s infrastructure and Kit’s. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we collect so little that there’s very little to lose.
Children
This website and our products are for businesses. They aren’t directed at children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use your email address, we’ll tell subscribers by email before it takes effect.
